Pause music while iPhone is locked

I just found an awesome trick on my new iPhone.

If you double click the home button while the phone is locked, it lets you pause, go forward, or go backward on your current iTunes song, or start playing a song.

This is really useful for people using headphones other than the ones Apple gave you.

How I Get Gmail Notifications to my Cell

Note: If your cell phone carrier has an email-to-sms address for your number, you can just set Gmail to forward emails to that address. The problem is that mine doesn’t.

1. I set up a separate Twitter account. I set my main account, which is set up with my cell phone number to follow this, with SMS updates.
2. I took my Gmail RSS feed, and entered it into FreeMyFeed, because I needed to get an RSS feed without a password. http://freemyfeed.com/
3. I took the RSS feed from that, and put it into twitterfeed. This publishes new RSS items to my second Twitter account. http://twitterfeed.com/
   
4. Every 30 minutes, twitterfeed checks for new emails, puts the new ones on the second twitter account, and my main twitter account sends an update to my cell.

That’s the closest my SLVR is going to get to push email.
